[ dij-i-tl ] + [ trans-fer-mey-shuhn ] : critical process of integrating technology into your business with the goal of achieving measurable outcomes.
At IMS, we get it: making significant changes within your business can feel daunting. But, as a savvy business looking to grow and gain competitive advantages, you recognize IT contributes heavily towards those goals. That’s precisely why our team is dedicated to simplifying the process of transformation into something painless.
We do this by aligning the transformation with clear, acknowledged business goals.
We focus on understanding our partners’ overall objectives to help define the technology and services to better achieve the desired outcomes, reduce friction, and provide a smooth transition.
With a leading staff of engineers with expertise in cloud, hybrid, and traditional infrastructure, we help businesses determine what the right services are that provide the solution they need. To accomplish this, we evaluate existing performance, analyze pathways to improvement, collaborate with our partners on determining and measuring future-state performance, and then navigate the transformation with efficiency and attention to detail.
In a collaborative effort, IMS:
We do a deep dive into your organization, assess your operations and workflows, and use this knowledge to identify a viable path to the cloud for the right services and solutions. For on-site technology, we can protect and manage those through complementary services; and if part of your journey involves developing a remote workforce, we can deploy, navigate, and support your end users, too.
The cloud offers greater availability, scalability, and reliability. There is less reliance on physical appliances that break, less investment in capital expenditures, and less hands-on efforts to maintain. The result is an easier pathway to growth and success.
Through the IMS assessment and discovery process, we identify where your business can gain the most by moving pieces of your IT into cloud solutions. We look at the interactions and dependencies between software, hardware, process, and people; then we share expected outcomes in operations and performance to help you decide what pieces of your IT go where (cloud, hybrid, on-premise). By the end, we evaluate all your business applications (ERP, CRM, finance, email, etc.) for their best future home – whether it’s the cloud, SaaS, hybrid, or on-premises.

For the geekier folks reading through this, Windows 365 allows you to specify each virtual desktops available resources; you can create organizational units and align staff by groups/types to properly powered virtual desktops. This latest and greatest from Microsoft creates unique desktops per user, whereas Azure Virtual Desktop (and RDS) still used back-end servers to host multiple users. In the past, if one of those back-end servers had an issue, it was likely all users had that issue. Windows 365 solves this problem and minimizes impacts across your organization.
